Base Description Its a huge base with some specials. The base is placed on a high mountain and got some secret rooms like a hangar with controlling room and a top-secret room for exo- merch. Also there is a big lab and a warehouse. Of course you can visit and leave the base with a warp-teleporter. I would like if u leave a message after visit. In worst case you can edit the terrain, if its not possible to join all rooms.

Base Description HMS Jules Verne Battle Balloon Located on planet Jules Verne, Starsilk 2 System, Teyncol Region, Delta Quadrant, Euclid Galaxy, the HMS Jules Verne Battle Balloon and Shirian Bombing Range is a living history museum. Before visiting Travellers brought advanced travel technology Shirians had primitive modes of transportation one being air travel using balloons and steam power. They built iron balloons filled with Radon which became lighter than air when heated by light fissures. The Shirians were a peaceful people that had to resort to warfare when they were invaded by the evil Orcians. After the Shirians defeated the Orcians on their home planet Sigma Oasis they came to the aid to the inhabitants of planet Jules Verne after hearing the Orcians invaded the Vernians. The Shirians established a base and bombing range to help train its aviators before they launched their fleet of Battle Balloons. They used a extinct volcano as a practice target which one side collapsed from all the Sphere Bombs dropped. They also built a bunker to test the vulnerability of structures from bombings to aid in the development of Sphere Bombs. Eons later a preservation society refurbished a Battle Balloon and converted the old bunker into a museum. We hope you decide to visit and relive history. Some of the things you can do on your visit: Tour the Battle Balloon and see the Bombardier control room, check out the views from the Radon tree platforms (which helped keep the balloon airborne), examine the captain and crews quarters, plasma gun deck (guns were both manually and computer operated), terrarium and fish tank (these two species were hypersensitive to the presence of Orcians and were used to locate their positions), operate the Sphere Bombs, learn about the steam engines, tour the bridge and navigation stations. Head back down and learn more about Battle Balloons and the First Shirian-Orcian War in the Bunker Museum, explore the volcano bomb crater, marvel at the mysterious enchanted forest, hang out at the secret relax and recreation cavern (the aviators being stationed in such a remote location and not having much to do between training and missions made a secret spot to unwind), examine the clandestine moonshine still and NipNip grow tray, take a dip in the pool, explore the underwater caves. There are several spots which visitors can release the bombs. We hope you enjoy your visit. HMS Jules Verne Battle Balloon specs: Crew: Captain, 2 Bombardiers, Navigator, Engine operator, 2 gunners, 2 Spotters/Radar operators 18.5 tons 2 steam engines, 5 light fissures Battle Balloon Armaments: 10 Liquid Explosive Sphere Bomb Bays 2 406 mm Swivel Cannons 12 Plasma Cannons
Notes Please allow time for base to render in. Also if base icon doesn’t appear when making the first portal jump, try to go back and try again. Please leave communications stations at the portal. Touring the base in first person is recommended.

Base Description NMS Steampunk Series Vol. 4: S.S. Mark Twain. This is a historic site of the famous paddle wheel steam airship S.S. Mark Twain and it’s home port Moreau. Before pulse and hyperdrive technology was introduced to this system the Eloi and Morlock races traveled by air with steam engines and balloons. This airship was famous for its luxurious means of travel for the times, it’s onboard casino, comfortable lodgings, two bars and restaurant as well as live music concerts held outside on the main deck. During the Eloi/Morlock Civil War it served as a troop transport, mail deliveries and hospital. After the war it became a popular cruise line showing tourists the beautiful planet Moreau. The airship became a vacation destination and not just a regular shipping vessel after the airship was brought out of retirement and refurbished. We hope you decide to visit. View the steam airship from the balloon observation deck. Dine at its 5 star restaurant. Lodgings include both staterooms and more economical private rooms. Try your hand at some gambling. Sunbath on the main upper deck. Enjoy the outdoor aquarium and terrarium. Have a top shelf cocktail at either Tom’s or Huck’s bar. Peruse the art galleries. Learn the ancient travel methods of steam power from our helpful docent. Enjoy popular “jam band” live concerts outdoors on the Phish Deck. Also don’t forget to explore the historic holo-terminus docking platform of Port Moreau. We hope you visit and enjoy your stay.
Notes Please allow time for base to render in. Also if base icon doesn’t appear when making the first portal jump, try to go back and try again. I’ve found since the Beyond update I have to retry portal jumps when the base icon doesn’t appear. Their are occasional hot rain storms which last about 3 minutes, otherwise it’s beautiful weather. Please leave communications stations at the portal. Also, I have another base in this system on planet Eloi, Fort H.G. Wells. Enjoy your visit!

Base Description NMS Steampunk Series Vol. 3: Battle of New Hampton Roads. This is a historic site of the famous Ironclad Airship Battle during the Eloi/Morlock Civil War. After the 2nd Eloi/Morlock War both races united and lived peaceably for many years though there was always a underlying tension due to the fact that the Morlock regions oppressed and subjugated the local Korvax to slave labor. War erupted after the Morlock regions seceded from the Eloi/Morlock union. While initially the war was over region rights it ultimately became about the freeing of the Korvax. Unfortunately it took a century for the Korvax to eventually have equal rights. Explore both the Eloi (USS New Monitor) and Morlock (CSS New Virginia) Ironclad airships. Teleporters provide easy access to both. Explore the armament and crew quarters. A small monument marks the location of the first and only engagement of the ironclads. Enjoy amazing views from the balloon observatory deck. For the more adventurous, jet pack to and from the ironclads. We hope you enjoy your visit to this historic site.
