Base Description

 The Alliance of Galactic Travellers Embassy was established to represent AGT in the Geminis Alianza Galactica System, which is part of the NMS Latino Group Hub region. This meeting place is used for diplomacy and camaraderie. Base Description

 The Great Disconnection Memorial.
This large memorial was commissioned by Iteration Hesperus as a remembrance of the destruction of the planet Korvax Prime. The Great Disconnection was the post-catastrophic event that killed millions of Korvax on Korvax Prime. It is a historical event instigated by the Gek that ended the Korvax domination of technology and technological advance in the galaxy. The three large pyramids represent a doomsday clock and the events counting down to The Great Disconnection. The three pyramids are named respectively: Convergence, The Abyss and The Void Mother. The memorial has become a pilgrimage site for those wishing to pay their respects and remember the sacrifices of the Korvax race.

 New Hobbiton
One day while perusing ancient literature at a Colossal Archive, Iteration Hesperus came across several works of fictional literature that originated from the planet Earth in the Milky Way Galaxy written by a species called human beings. Two particular novels, The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, written by author J.R.R. Tolkien sparked his imagination. The vivid descriptions of Hobbiton, also known as the Shire, inspired Hesperus to construct a version of it. He hoped this creation would inspire others to read the novels and be able to experience his vision of Middle Earth in person. Located on planet Geksa, Nuovo Italia system, Euclid Galaxy, the Leaning Tower of Geksa is a unique structure that became famous for it extreme angle. Iteration Hyperion, while searching records in a Colossal Archives, came across a entry which described a unique structure located on planet Earth in the Milky Way Galaxy called the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Hyperion became intrigued by this bell tower which tilted on a angle due to the soft ground which could not support its weight. Hyperion commissioned architect mr_phishead to build a version of it so other Travellers could visit. The site includes a version of Galileo’s gravity experiment and a observation balloon. Base Description

 Silas Bogg Sky Chateau
This unique structure was designed and built by an eccentric wealthy Traveller named Silas Bogg. Its creation as born out of a challenge. While relaxing and having a spot of NipNip tea in the space station lounge a Gek trader named Gujo overhead Silas talking about primate forms of air travel and challenged Silas to recreate such archaic technologies and to circumnavigate plane Aoxomoxoa in 80 Sols. Bogg took up the challenge and used most of his wealth to design and build a flying machine that could make the voyage. He designed a flying chateau powered by steam, balloon and a air propulsion wheel. Bogg set off on his trip accompanied by his faithful servant Alimgolf. Ultimately Bogg succeeded on circling planet in under 80 sols and enjoyed his travels via the Sky Chateau so much that he spent the remainder of his days exploring planets in this manner.

 -For anyone planning to visit please read the warning at the end of this post-

Gates of Hades (normal, Euclid)
A wealthy Gek merchant named Lopurrite discovered a epic poem, written by the Earthling poet Dante, in a Colossal Archive. The poem Inferno, which is the first part of the Divine Comedy, describes a dream the poet had about a journey through the different levels of hell guided by the ancient Roman poet Virgil. Lopurrite became intrigued by the imagery in the poem and commissioned architects and artists to build a version of it. The different sins from the Christian religion are represented by elaborate sculptures. Built over a active volcano only intrepid visitors dare to visit this scary yet fascinating site. Please be forewarned not to pass through the skull doorway for one will experience massive heat damage by going too far down the spiral staircase. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.

Warning: Due to a glitch in the game, flying your ship directly from the portal to the base will cause the volcano to not render in. To get the volcano to render in properly do one of the following. 1) fly to the space station and warp to base through the space station teleporter (recommended option) 2) Land at the base and interact with the save point and reload your manual save. 3) After landing, get out of you ship and reload that auto save. We hope you enjoy your visit and don’t fall into the volcano.
