After the Endurance update it has become apparent that players are in need of Salvaged Frigate Modules. These modules are pretty hard to come by, however the derelict freighter in this system has 50+ blue containers that have a 2.5% chance of dropping a Salvaged Frigate Module. This means on average you should be able to get at least one every time you do a run through this derelict freighter (and you can run as many times as you want, so long as you buy the Emergency Broadcast Receivers). This derelict freighter is ideal for farming Salvaged Frigate Modules not only because it has a high number of blue crates, but also because it is relatively small (only 10 zones) and the only hostile entities within the freighter are the slow-moving jellyfish which are easily outrun or destroyed. The first run I did through this derelict freighter resulted in 3 SFM, the next run I only got 1. I have heard of some people getting up to 7 in a single run. It's just a random chance. Hope this helps you guys upgrade your freighters quickly in this new update! |
