Base Description

J. Appleseed Arboretum Aeroship
Located on planet Apygen Z21, Rigusu System, Zemytis Void Region, Delta Quadrant, Euclid Galaxy.

This creation came about when a Gek botanist, Traveller pilot, V’Keen climatologist and Korvax engineer crossed paths at a pub one night and after a few pints of stout and scientific discussion they decided on a plan to better the Euclid Galaxy by combining their talents and embarked on a epic project and journey. Their goal was to help seed flora on barren planets to help those planets become more sustainable for the planets life forms to have a alternative food source and help bolster the planets environments and atmospheres from the floras emissions. With donations and sponsors they designed and built a flying arboretum airship to travel to as many planets as they could to help establish flora rich planets. Their mission also included educating planet inhabitants about the beauty and benefits of multiple forms of flora. The airship included a classroom and a flora and climate museum as well as a garden workshop to educate the benefits of cultivation. It’s hanging gardens with its upside down flora would help seed barren planets from the air. This was in the era before the technology of launch thrusters, pulse and hyperdrives. The airships propulsion was balloons with a extremely light gas and light fissure engines. Since this mode of transportation took long periods traveling between planets and star systems the crew would take turns of operating the airship and hibernating in suspension chambers. In their honor the aeroship has been restored and has become a tourist destination. Visitors can tour and learn about its inner workings and wander the beautiful hanging gardens. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Notes

Please allow time for base to render in.
Also if base icon doesn’t appear when making the first portal jump, try to go back and try again. Please leave communications stations at the portal (feel free to tell us where you are from). Due to base complexity please allow time for rendering. Also when using the short range teleporters wait a few seconds for base to render in before counting the tour to avoid falling thru the floor with this being a high altitude base.
